Policy review

During this session we will focus on how to appropriately support anyone that is new to the role of Early Childhood Educator. We take a thorough look at the 4 stages of learning and learn how having an appreciation for the learning process can help us become effective leaders and mentors.
During this session we take a deep dive into emotional intelligence and explore the impact our actions and behaviours can have on the team culture. We take a look at the circle of influence and explore the impact of being influenced by individuals and look to understand how we can apply this concept to ensure we focus our energy on what matters most in the workplace.
In this session we turn the lens on ourselves for some critical reflection. We explore the why behind what we do, looking to understand the reasons behind our decision to come to work everyday. Having a clear understanding of your why is an important part of being successful in anything you chose to do.
In this session we break down, what I like to call, 'the icky stuff'. We take a look at performance management and explore some great strategies to help you have those hard conversations. We also shine a light on the brighter side of performance management remembering that at the end of the day we want everyone to succeed and looking at how we can get the best out of everyone. This session is more suited to Directors, Assistant directors and those moving into management roles.
